Donny Utton writes across worlds—both real and imagined.

A full-time creator and part-time food delivery worker, Donny’s work explores everything from self-reinvention to sword-wielding druids. His nonfiction books (Out For DeliveryHit the Reset, and the upcoming From Eden to Jesus) focus on health, hustle, and healing, told through a raw, conversational lens that makes readers feel like they’re talking to a friend who’s been there.

But when night falls—or when the fantasy itch strikes—Donny dives into darker, grittier worlds. His Kaelen fantasy series, inspired by betrayal, beast transformations, and moral grey zones, offers readers deep character arcs, harsh landscapes, and an emotional punch. On the lighter side, The Bookmark Murders brings cozy mystery fans a touch of humor, oddball characters, and bookshop intrigue.

He’s also the creator behind the Halfway House series—a quirky and moving short story collection set in a supernatural halfway point between life and whatever comes next.

When he’s not writing, Donny is likely recording music (his 10th album just dropped), filming outdoor YouTube content for his Outsydas brand, or working on Vent4th, a fantasy TTRPG storytelling project inspired by games like Dungeons & Dragons.

Most weekends, you’ll still find him delivering food—listening to audiobooks between orders and scribbling story ideas on napkins.
